Professional Bio
Ethan started his career in the Telecommunications industry in 1996, spending almost 20 years with AT&T that started in Customer Service. From there he spent time in the Construction and Engineering side of the business before taking on leadership roles in the Residential Sales and Service group and Executive Staff. That led him to AVA, where he is now VP of Business Development and responsible for connecting AVA with property management companies.
Originally branded as Slingshot, we experienced significant growth in 2015 & 2016, expanding our presence to 26 markets and boasting a team of over 60 employees. This success was primarily attributed to the company's concierge approach, which fostered strong partnerships with communities. Building on this foundation, we developed our innovative platform, AVA, to connect with partner properties and their residents.
AVA serves as a comprehensive solution for simplifying the moving experience, offering a wide range of services and solutions for residents. The platform acts as a one-stop-shop, enabling residents to register and access various essential services such as Internet, Renters Insurance, and Movers. AVA's commitment to providing a seamless experience is further reinforced by its dedicated team of AVA Ambassadors, who work closely with communities to drive resident engagement through regular on-site visits and community events.
To ensure a smooth ordering process, AVA's inside sales team works directly with residents who engage with the platform, facilitating the finalization of orders. By combining technology, community partnerships, and a customer-centric approach, AVA positions itself as a leading provider of simplified solutions for residents during the moving process.
